At Pinecone Trails, the heart of our mission is simple: everyone deserves to feel welcome and included. We’re proud to offer a wheelchair-friendly cabin designed with accessibility in mind—complete with beautiful views from the screened-in porch and an accessible fire pit so every guest can enjoy the outdoors together.
We’re incredibly grateful to have partnered with Lorraine and Alex at @becomingrentable, whose wonderful program helped guide us on the right products and design choices to make @pineconetrails truly accessible. Designer @beckyjonesbranding also shared her incredible talent, helping us make accessibility both functional and beautiful.
A special thank you to @driscollestate for allowing us to tour their incredible accessible Airbnb and learn more about thoughtful features like the Native Trails roll-under sink and other accessibility details. We’re also so thankful for photographers @jljordanphotography and @summergreathousephotography, who beautifully captured both the accessible elements and the many special features of the cabin.
This cabin has been much prayed for, and our hearts have been filled with joy hearing positive feedback from guests who use power chairs and walkers. One young guest kept returning to the Native Trails sink because he could easily use it with his walker. As he explored the cabin, he told his mom, “I feel like this cabin was made for me.” Later we told his mom, “It was made for him.” ❤️
We believe many more meaningful stories are waiting to happen here. Thank you for sharing this story with friends and family—we look forward to welcoming you to Pinecone Trails.
